Because it's more fitting. I mean REALLY. Would you prefer the adventures of our unique Sasuke our lonely angsty wold that goes into a very rich and higly intelligent changing characher development or just a boring shonen child with the same old repeated Goku-like personality that rarely travels and is almost always inside a group?
Clearly in fact in Sasuke takes the cake. To be more accurate, I want to know the journey of a self-conflicted smart character that travels alone inside the magical tunnels of dangerous life, searches for his own hated brother and he goes into risky fights just for that, kills his OWN brother, then learns about brother's sacrifice, sets a goal to become a Hokage for a better life where his future family wouldn't be killed since HE would administrate a couple of sociopolitical THINGS and goes into a lot of intense battles AFTER killing his brother than an extremely dense Luffy-like child that is still a child and there is nothing new to see on him.
